- First make a single page to feel comfortable with the menu options:
- focus first on the File Menu (File Save, File Open)
- make sure you are comfortable moving back and forth between Code and Design - remember you can use any editor (including Notepad in a pinch, to edit the pages that Dreamweaver creates but only in Dreamweaver can you manage the web site as an entity.)
The Iterative process of web design:
- Conception
- Construction of content
- Construction of templates and styles
- Construction of functionality
- Creation of pages
- Critique - correct - keep current
